Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Festspielgelände auf dem Schlossberg, Breisach, Germany
London, late 19th century. The strict codes of virtue and morality of the Victorian age shape the face of the city. And it is in the district of Soho that something sinister begins. A particularly violent man first terrorises London's entertainment quarter, then the whole city. One name keeps coming up: Mr. Hyde. Yet the police cannot catch him - his trail vanishes in mysterious ways. Until one day it leads to the house of Dr. Jekyll. The ambitious young physician insists that Hyde poses no danger. Until he commits a murder. Suddenly a suspicion takes hold: are Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde one and the same person?
A pursuit of the riddle of good and evil - with suspense, understated dread, a touch of frivolity and dry humour.
