"wir_jetzt_hier" is a stage project by Mentor Stiftung Deutschland marking its 10th anniversary - created in collaboration with Bodensee Philharmonie, Geschwister-Scholl-Schule Konstanz, and Europäischem KulturForum Mainau e. V. At its heart lies the question: can many individual I's become a strong We?

Young people aged 15-19 bring their worries, hopes, and questions to the stage - accompanied by Bodensee Philharmonie and the Great Choir of Geschwister-Scholl-Schule. Musically, the piece spans a wide arc: from Richard Wagner, Johann Pachelbel, and Edvard Grieg to the Rolling Stones and Radiohead.

The concept and direction are by Oliver Wnuk, author, actor, and Mentor ambassador. Gabriel Venzago, chief conductor of Bodensee Philharmonie, leads the music; Wilfried Hetz from Geschwister-Scholl-Schule conducts the choir.

The performance runs 2.5 hours with an intermission.

About: Gabriel Venzago

Gabriel Venzago is a Swiss conductor who has served as chief conductor of the Bodensee Philharmonie in Konstanz since the 2021/22 season. He studied conducting in Vienna and Berlin and works across a broad symphonic repertoire, with a particular interest in projects that bring orchestral music to new audiences.

About the venue: Bodenseeforum

The Bodenseeforum Konstanz is a modern conference and event centre on the shores of Lake Constance, opened in 2016. Its flexible halls and foyers accommodate congresses, trade fairs, concerts and corporate events for up to around 2,000 people. The building's glass facade opens directly onto the lakeside promenade, making it one of the most scenically situated venues in the region.
