This contemporary staging of Bizet's opera reimagines the protagonist working in a karaoke bar, mixing cocktails and singing French chansons. Opernloft is an independent music theatre housed in a former ferry terminal in Hamburg's Altona district, where audiences sit close to the stage. The production explores independence, love, and its tragic consequences in an immersive setting. Hamburg is one of nine German dates on this tour.
