Who would have thought 20 years ago that "Scherereien" and pitch-perfect Hessian dialect could conquer Germany's cabaret and comedy stages? In 1998, Johannes Scherer went on tour for the first time - alongside his brilliant partner and radio colleague Robert Treutel ("Bodo Bach"). Four years later came Scherer's debut solo show "Scherereien", which earned him an immediate nomination for the prestigious cabaret award "Prix Pantheon". The Aschaffenburg paper "Main-Echo" wrote about him: "He doesn't listen to the people. He is the people... And with Johannes Scherer in particular, it becomes clearer with every programme and every performance just how cunningly he turns an apparently cheap pun into a sharp socio-political statement." Also making an appearance are the guys from "DFB-Kantine", his favourite Italian Luigi, and the now-retired Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger, whom Johannes Scherer in 2007...
