The Olchis in the Magician's Spell

We step into the smelly world of the Olchis - a truly one-of-a-kind family. Toxic green, with hair as stiff as wire, hearing horns on their heads and big knobbly noses. They live on a large rubbish dump in the charming little town of Schmuddelfing, where they are not only a tourist attraction but also well-liked by most of their neighbours. After all, whoever takes care of the rubbish keeps the town clean. The Olchis love stench, enjoy eating shoe soles and bathing in mud. Flies, rats and toads are their constant companions. Every now and then the seven-strong family also takes to the skies on their dragon, Fiery Chair.

How wonderfully smelly and rotten life could be for the Olchis - if only the local cultural association hadn't set its sights on building a concert hall right where the rubbish dump stands. The Olchis have to go, and fast! Conflict is inevitable.

Luckily, the circus comes to town and the Olchis are invited to the show. They watch the acrobats, tightrope walkers and clowns with wide eyes. Even a llama gets a round of applause. But the greatest fascination is reserved for the magician Spirelli, who masters the art of hypnosis like no one else - and picks Grandma Olchi as his new assistant. In a flash she is in "jumping trousers", obediently following the magician's every command. She even eats a fresh onion and breaks out in colourful spots all over her body, because fresh food is poisonous to the Olchis. She would never have done any of this in her right mind. The rest of the Olchis are worried. They want to rescue Grandma from the clutches of the shady magician - but how?
