Dome Climb

The viewing platform of the Frauenkirche sits in the lantern above the dome - at a height of 67 metres. The ascent leads through the interior of the dome structure.

From the top, the view stretches across Dresden and the surrounding area: depending on the weather, as far as the Dresdner Heide to the north, the Elbe Sandstone Mountains to the east, the Ore Mountains to the south, or Meissen to the west.
