Robin Hood | Heroes in Support Stockings - Open Air
Hoftheater Baienfurt, Germany
31.7 €
He was the fearless king of thieves, the avenger of the dispossessed, the hero of our childhood. Together with his loyal companions - Friar Tuck, Little John, Will Scarlett and the fair Maid Marian - he once saved the world. Or at least Sherwood Forest, which roughly corresponded to what is now the Altdorfer Wald.
Admittedly, the green tights were pretty embarrassing even back then. But that's what you get with newcomers: they bring not only fresh ideas but also strange clothes to our Swabian lands. And let's be honest - with the outlandish concept of taking from the rich and giving to the poor, you wouldn't even win a Bundestag election today.
That's left-wing nonsense, says the Sheriff of Nonnenhorn - and he should know, since nobody has as many TikTok followers as this Swabian master of groove.
And yet here we are again: the country is on its knees, people struggle daily to get by - or at least to figure out how to fund their second holiday flight to Mallorca this year.
Just the right moment for pensioner Robin to pick up his bow, squeeze into his green support stockings and - following Lady Marian's instructions - improve the lives of the downtrodden. It's time for a hero!
