Hubert von Goisern - Kapitel 2. ZU LAUT!

After three years away from the stage, Hubert von Goisern announces a 2027 tour - an open musical terrain somewhere between looking ahead and looking back. Loud and quiet. Whether too loud or too quiet is a question he puts to the audience.

"Too loud? Really? I don't worry about that. What interests me more is where that line sits for the audience," says Hubert von Goisern on the tour motto "ZU LEISE? & ZU LAUT!".

By 2027, three years will have passed since Hubert von Goisern last performed in a conventional concert format. He was never quiet in the meantime, though - as part of the European Capital of Culture 2024, he spent an entire summer playing in the streets, with concerts announced at short notice, rotating guests and ever-changing line-ups.

On "ZU LEISE? & ZU LAUT!" he says: "I know some people would be happy if I just played familiar songs. But I have enough on my hands meeting my own expectations. And there are also those who would be disappointed if I came up with nothing new."

The new tour starts from exactly that point: not as a reproduction of existing programmes, but as an open musical field where things are allowed to develop. Loud and quiet - as two distinct musical approaches that will run through the entire tour.
