Behind the Scenes - Seat Manufacturing

The event series "Behind the Scenes" offers a look into various areas of the Sindelfingen plant. Each session starts at the Mercedes-Benz Kundencenter Sindelfingen, where a welcome and an introductory film in the cinema hall set the stage for the tour.

This edition takes participants by shuttle to the Mercedes-Benz off-site facility in Böblingen-Hulb, where seats for the S-Class saloon are manufactured. The guided tour shows what components are built into a seat and how features such as 4D sound, massage function, and driving dynamics and safety systems are integrated. After the tour, the shuttle brings everyone back to the customer centre.
