(19) Biber-Zyklus III

Tabea Höfer brings the third instalment of Biber-Zyklus to Köthen on Saturday, 5 September 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Veranstaltungszentrum Schloss Köthen. This is one of three concerts in the cycle that the artist is performing across Germany. The chapel becomes a multidimensional sound space as Höfer and Georg Kallweit, together with Flora Fabri and Luise Enzian, have developed their own instrumentations of Biber's Rosary Sonatas with specially designed lighting accompaniment. The concert runs 45 minutes. Schloss Köthen, a Baroque palace complex in the city centre, is known as the workplace of Johann Sebastian Bach, who served as court conductor there from 1717 to 1723.
