STERN COMBO MEISSEN - Live Tour 2025/26....and the roads are still long — Bürgersaal Waren, Waren

Founded in 1964 in Meissen, Saxony, by Martin Schreier and fellow musicians, STERN-COMBO MEISSEN toured extensively from early 2024 through mid-September 2025 with over 60 concerts celebrating their 60th anniversary under the motto "60 Jahre ... der weite Weg". In sold-out venues across the country, the band proved convincingly that despite six decades of existence, they sound anything but dusty or outdated. Quite the opposite: as the oldest art-rock legend on the scene, the band presented themselves fresh and brimming with new musical ideas!

The release of "Die Himmelsscheibe von Nebra" in September 2024 provided further momentum, earning high praise from both audiences and critics. Singer, keyboardist, and composer Manuel Schmid once again demonstrated his creative vision on this work, which explores a culturally and historically significant artifact of human civilization - the Nebra Sky Disk. "Die Himmelsscheibe von Nebra" fits seamlessly into STERN-COMBO MEISSEN's artistic legacy.

During 2025/26, STERN-COMBO MEISSEN will continue performing across numerous stages nationwide. Alongside fresh material, the setlist will feature beloved classics such as "Der Kampf um den Südpol", "Die Sage", "Der weite Weg", "Stundenschlag", "Wir sind die Sonne", "Eine Nacht", "Nimm die Welt in die Hand", and selections from the conceptual work "Weißes Gold". With over 12 released and successful studio albums, the band draws from a rich catalog of songs, making each concert unique.
