Ready for bold words, sharp punchlines and goosebump moments? Then come to the original! We kick off the BurghofSlam series for this season with this classic event. Brave poets take the stage with their own texts - sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, sometimes funny, sometimes profound, but always with heart and conviction.

In a gripping contest, the audience alone decides who wins the stage. Poetry, storytelling, rap, spoken word - anything goes, as long as it's self-written and fits into six minutes. Expect an evening of raw emotion, linguistic craft and surprising perspectives.

At the end, you decide who makes it to the final and wins the first BurghofSlam of the new season - and maybe, just a little, who the next stars of the scene will be.
