From Tina Turner to Hildegard Knef: as long as the song is fun

On Friday, 11 September 2026, the Jahnhalle will be lively, varied and gloriously unpredictable: Sirenen bring a programme where musical pigeonholes are good for little more than storing instruments.

The four musicians - Dominique Wempe, Kathrin Torkel, Yvonne Broch and Inga Lüdke - share a love of rediscovering familiar songs and putting their own stamp on them. Their repertoire runs from Tina Turner through Alphaville and the Beatles to Amy Macdonald. And since genre boundaries are more like friendly suggestions for this band, Hildegard Knef is welcome to drop by too.
