The hr-iNFO podcast "Verurteilt!" goes live on stage: court reporter Heike Borufka (Hessischer Rundfunk) and Frankfurt-based podcaster Basti Red discuss real criminal cases, real verdicts, and the German justice system in front of a live audience. How do prosecutions come about? How do judges and prosecutors stay independent from public opinion? And why do clear-cut legal statutes so often clash with our gut sense of justice?

The two hosts take a specific case under the microscope and put the verdict in context - with facts and with empathy.
