A soft purr in the cello, an excited twitter in the flute, a deep rumble in the saxophone - and the Zehntstadel turns into a forest, a farmyard, or a savanna. The Sakurai Ensemble (Florian Riedl, Juli Linden, Andreas Höricht and Anna Rehker) takes children into the world of animals: how does a frog leap in musical notes? Can a quartet conjure up an entire zoo?

At this concert, music becomes not just audible but visible: Doris Eisenburger, illustrator of numerous children's books, draws live on stage and brings the animals to life on her canvas. Guessing along and joining in is actively encouraged.
