Christl Sittenauer: Komplizin
Zehntstadel, Leipheim, Germany
25 €
They say it takes a village to raise a child. Christl Sittenauer goes further: getting through life takes accomplices. In her second stage show, the cabaret artist goes looking for the allies of everyday life - some have been there all along, some are sorely missing, and some you could really do without.
Between topless swimmer Rita, retirees in camouflage beige, treadmill trainer René and Monica Lewinsky, a sharp cabaret unfolds about sisterhood, white lies, altruism, disobedience and people-pleasing. With analytical wit, dry humour and a reliable instinct for the punchline, the trained natural scientist takes apart social structures, gender roles and political trends.
Since 2020, Christl Sittenauer has been a member of the Münchner Lach- und Schießgesellschaft ensemble - so this is far from her first time at the Zehntstadel.
