Josef says: I am not Siegfried. Yet this figure feels very close to him. He saw a film, and ever since he met the lead actor Marco at a signing event, Siegfried has become the hero of his life. Josef acts out all the adventures and battles Siegfried must face - the fight with the dragon, the dwarf king Alberich, Siegfried's love for Kriemhild - and lets us share in his daydream about his own first, tentative love for the girl from the bakery across the street.

The heroes of the legend have come alive in Josef's imagination. He takes the audience along on a journey through the figures of the saga that mean so much to him in his own life. Siegfried's joys and sorrows are felt by Josef as if they were his own.
