One of the most celebrated classical voices of our time returns to Germany in winter 2025. Paul Potts brings the audience a programme of exceptional highlights at international level.
His rise to the world stage was anything but straightforward. Bullied and mocked at school, he found refuge in his local church choir. At 16, hearing La Bohème for the first time, he fell in love with opera and began a passionate journey that would take him through turbulent times. In 2007 he won the first series of Britain's Got Talent - and nothing was ever the same again.
For Bristol-born Paul Potts, music had always been a source of comfort through years of bullying, financial hardship, medical setbacks and self-doubt. That is why he seized the chance to perform in the very first episode of Britain's Got Talent. The mobile phone salesman stepped up to the microphone before the judges and delivered his interpretation of Nessun Dorma. As his voice soared, Britain - and the world - fell for his story and his extraordinary talent. Shortly afterwards, 12 million viewers watched him be crowned the winner.
His audition of "Nessun Dorma" remains one of the most-watched videos in YouTube history. His debut multi-platinum album "One Chance" reached number one in 15 countries, and he was invited twice to perform for Queen Elizabeth II at the Royal Variety Performance. His inspiring story was also told in the Hollywood film "One Chance".
Paul Potts continues to share his remarkable gift with fans across every continent - and his story is far from over.
