Cloud-Touching Point

Christoph Kramer, a former German footballer and 2014 World Cup winner, discusses his second novel "Cloud-Touching Point". Following the success of his debut "Life Began in Summer", which immediately topped the Der Spiegel bestseller list, Kramer returns with a new story about pivotal moments and fresh starts.

The novel tells of an encounter with a man named Roman and his connection to an old mast - the "cloud-touching point" - a place from which one can shout their wishes into the sky. It is the story of two vastly different lives: a world champion and a boy who never had a home.

At the event, Kramer will discuss "Cloud-Touching Point", the transition from his successful debut to this new book, and writing after the end of his football career.
