Melanie's life is going great: her father Helmut makes her co-boss of the Coco-Jambo bar, and on top of that she falls head over heels for Milan, who recently fled Bosnia. But Uncle Claus, who had his eye on the top job himself, hatches a dark revenge plot with a gang of skinhead thugs. Helmut ends up behind bars, and Claus takes over the bar.

Melanie goes on the run and finds shelter in the tiny shop of inline-skating Supersoaker activists. When her Tamagotchi finally cries out for help, she returns - and together with her friends, disguised as a boyband, takes on hatred, bigotry and the evils of the 90s. Backed by the greatest hits of a gloriously chaotic decade.
