Things are going great for Melanie: her father Helmut has just made her co-manager of the Coco-Jambo bar. And then there's Milan, who recently fled Bosnia, and Melanie falls for him at first sight. But Melanie's evil uncle Claus is deeply disappointed that he didn't become co-manager of the Coco-Jambo bar. So Claus makes a dark pact with bald thugs. They throw Helmut in jail, make Claus the new boss, and take over the Coco-Jambo bar.

Melanie flees and hides in a small shop run by inline-skating, super-soaker-wielding activists. Milan's rescue attempt hasn't worked yet, but the cries for help from her Tamagotchi convince Melanie to return. Together with her friends, disguised as a boy band, Melanie takes on the fight against hatred, agitation, and all the evil in the world of the 1990s. Backed by the best songs from a wild and colourful decade!
