Sterre Weldring - Emotive Folk Pop from Amsterdam

Sterre Weldring lets raw emotion run free in her folk-pop songs - grand and dramatic, the way they sometimes feel. At the same time, she draws on philosophical lyrics that carry a subtly dark, romantic undertone.

She developed her style through songwriting studies in Brighton and philosophy studies in Amsterdam - both influences flow into her texts and melodies. She cites Tom Odell, Florence + the Machine, and Ben Howard as influences. She has performed at venues including Paradiso Amsterdam, Sofar London, and Radio 2 (Netherlands).

Her third EP "Along the Lines of Loving" is released in 2026.
