Sterre Weldring - Emotive Folk Pop from Amsterdam

With her captivating folk-pop songs, Sterre Weldring lets raw emotions run free, rendering them as large and dramatic as they sometimes feel. At the same time, her music carries a constant thread of introspection, which she weaves into philosophical lyrics with a subtly dark, romantic undertone.

She developed her style while studying songwriting in Brighton and philosophy in Amsterdam, combining both disciplines to find words and melodies for her stories. Her influences include Tom Odell, Florence + the Machine, and Ben Howard.

Over the years she has built a following on streaming platforms and performed at venues such as Paradiso Amsterdam, Sofar London, and on Radio 2 (Netherlands). Her third EP 'Along the Lines of Loving' is due in 2026.
