About the venue
The Altes Schloss (Old Palace) is a medieval castle in the centre of Stuttgart, dating back to the 10th century and rebuilt in its current Renaissance form in the 16th century. It houses the Württemberg State Museum (Landesmuseum Württemberg), which covers regional history from prehistory to the modern era. The inner courtyard, with its elegant arcaded galleries, regularly serves as a stage for open-air concerts and cultural events.
