Basilika St. Ulrich und Afra

Augsburg, Germany

About the venue

The Basilica of St. Ulrich and Afra is a late-Gothic church in Augsburg, built between the late 15th and early 17th centuries on the site where the city's patron saints Ulrich and Afra are venerated. The adjoining Protestant church of St. Ulrich makes this ensemble one of the rare examples of Catholic and Lutheran churches sharing a single complex. The basilica regularly hosts organ concerts and sacred music events.
