The bosco is Gauting's municipal cultural centre, opened in 2009 and named after the chestnut grove that once stood on the site. The building hosts theatre performances, concerts, readings and community events, and its flexible main hall seats several hundred guests. It has established itself as one of the most active cultural venues in the greater Munich area.
