Burg Wertheim is a ruined hilltop castle overlooking the confluence of the Tauber and Main rivers in Wertheim, Baden-Württemberg. Dating back to the 12th century, it was once the seat of the Counts of Wertheim and remains one of the largest medieval castle ruins in southwest Germany. Today the open-air grounds host concerts, theatre performances and cultural events during the warmer months.
