The Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz is the state orchestra of Rhineland-Palatinate, based in Ludwigshafen am Rhein. Founded in 1919, it is one of the largest and most active symphony orchestras in Germany, giving well over 100 concerts a year across the region and beyond. Its home venue is the Philharmonie im Pfalzbau, and the ensemble regularly tours internationally.
