Verleih uns Frieden - Sacred Choral Music
The award-winning Jugendkonzertchor der CHORAKADEMIE am Konzerthaus Dortmund performs a sacred a cappella programme from Heinrich Schütz to the present, conducted by Johannes Honecker.
Otterberg, Germany
The former Cistercian abbey church in Otterberg is one of the best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic monastic churches in the Rhineland-Palatinate region, dating back to the 12th and 13th centuries. After the dissolution of the monastery, the church served several Christian denominations simultaneously for centuries - a rare arrangement known as a Simultankirche. Today it hosts concerts and cultural events alongside regular services.
