About the venue

Grimmwelt Kassel is a museum dedicated to the Brothers Grimm, who lived and worked in Kassel for many years. Opened in 2015, the striking building by architects kadawittfeldarchitektur sits on the Weinberg hill and houses original manuscripts, first editions of the Kinder- und Hausmärchen, and interactive exhibits tracing the Grimms' linguistic and literary legacy. The rooftop terrace offers a panoramic view over the city.
