About the venue

The Franziskanerkirche in Überlingen is a late-Gothic church originally built by the Franciscan order in the 14th century, situated near the historic old town on the shores of Lake Constance. After the Franciscans left, the building passed through various uses before becoming a venue for concerts and cultural events. Its stone interior and vaulted ceiling give performances here a distinctive acoustic character.
