The closing concert of the 48th Meersburg Summer Academy takes place under the motto "Longing" and presents works by Bernstein, Mendelssohn and Vasks. The choir and orchestra - staffed with teachers from all school types across Baden-Württemberg - perform under the direction of Yuval Weinberg, chief conductor of the SWR Vokalensemble. From 2028, he will assume the same position with the Berlin Radio Choir.
