The Gandersheimer Domfestspiele is an open-air theatre festival held annually in front of the Romanesque collegiate church (Stiftskirche) in Bad Gandersheim, Lower Saxony. The festival has roots going back to the early 20th century and stages plays, musicals and classical works against the backdrop of the medieval cathedral façade. It is one of the oldest and most distinctive open-air cultural events in northern Germany.
