Grugapark Essen is a large public park and horticultural showground in the west of Essen, covering around 70 hectares. Originally opened in 1929 as a horticultural exhibition, it has hosted the Federal Garden Show (Bundesgartenschau) and regularly serves as a venue for open-air concerts, festivals, and cultural events. The park features botanical gardens, a rose garden, and an outdoor stage.
