Historisches Kaufhaus

About the venue

The Historisches Kaufhaus is a striking late-Gothic merchant hall on Freiburg's Münsterplatz, built between 1520 and 1530. Its vivid red facade, decorated with imperial statues and coats of arms, makes it one of the most recognizable landmarks in the city. Today the building hosts receptions, concerts, and public events in its historic halls.
