About the venue

The Kaiserdom Königslutter is a Romanesque imperial cathedral founded by Emperor Lothar III in 1135 and completed in the mid-12th century. It houses the tomb of Lothar III and his wife Richenza, making it one of the most significant medieval monuments in Lower Saxony. The church is renowned for its elaborately carved hunting frieze on the exterior apse and its richly decorated cloister.
