Kloster Jerichow is one of the oldest brick buildings in northern Germany, founded by Premonstratensian monks in the 12th century. The Romanesque monastery complex - church, cloister and chapter house - has been largely preserved and is considered a key monument of Brick Romanesque architecture. Today it hosts concerts, exhibitions and cultural events throughout the year.
