Konstanz, Germany

About the venue

The Konzil Konstanz is a late-Gothic harbour building dating from 1388, originally used as a warehouse and trading hall. It is best known as the site where the Council of Constance (1414-1418) elected Pope Martin V, ending the Western Schism. Today the building hosts concerts, congresses and gala events on the shores of Lake Constance.
