About the venue

Landgrafenschloss Marburg is a medieval hilltop castle towering above the old town, one of the best-preserved early Gothic secular buildings in Germany. Built from the 13th century onward, it served as the residence of the Landgraves of Hesse for several centuries. Today it houses the Museum für Kulturgeschichte and hosts cultural events, open-air concerts and historical exhibitions on its grounds.
