About the venue

Schloss Oberstein is a medieval castle ruin perched on the rocky cliffs above Idar-Oberstein, closely linked to the famous Felsenkirche (rock church) built into the cliff face below it. The castle dates back to the 12th century and was the seat of the lords of Oberstein. Today it serves as a scenic backdrop for open-air events and cultural gatherings, offering sweeping views over the Nahe valley.
