The Broken Jug - A Comedy for Three

Judge Adam is having a terrible day: after a nightmarish dream, he wakes up covered in bruises and scratches - and learns that an immediate inspection of his accounts and judicial fitness is imminent.

Marthe Rull arrives at court as a plaintiff and accuses Ruprecht, the fiancé of her daughter Eve, of breaking her clay jug the evening before. Eve is the only witness who could shed light on what happened - but she remains silent.
