About the venue

Schloss Reckahn is an 18th-century manor house in the village of Reckahn, near Kloster Lehnin in Brandenburg. It is closely associated with Friedrich Eberhard von Rochow, an Enlightenment educator who founded one of Prussia's pioneering village schools here in 1773. Today the estate houses a museum dedicated to Rochow and the history of popular education, and the grounds are used for cultural events.
