The Steigenberger Inselhotel occupies a former Dominican monastery on a small peninsula jutting into Lake Constance - making it one of the most distinctive hotel locations in southern Germany. The 13th-century cloister and Gothic architecture have been preserved alongside modern conference and event facilities. It hosted the Council of Constance delegations in the 15th century, and today welcomes concerts, galas and corporate events.
