Tresor is one of Berlin's most iconic techno clubs, opened in 1991 in the vaults of the former Wertheim department store. Since 2007 it has operated in a former power plant (Kraftwerk Berlin), where the Globus room — a low-ceilinged, steel-grid basement — has become legendary for its raw, industrial sound and uncompromising techno nights.
