Crowbar is an American sludge metal band from New Orleans, Louisiana, formed in 1990. Known for their crushing, slow-paced sound blending doom metal and hardcore punk, they are fronted by vocalist and guitarist Kirk Windstein. Albums such as "Crowbar" (1993) and "Odd Fellows Rest" (1998) are considered classics of the genre.
