Daniel Ciobanu

About

Daniel Ciobanu is a Romanian pianist who won second prize and the audience award at the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in Tel Aviv (2017). He has performed with ensembles including the Staatskapelle Dresden and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, and given solo recitals at the Concertgebouw. Since the 2020/2021 season he has been the first artist-in-residence in the history of the George Enescu Philharmonic in Bucharest.
