Noums Dembele is a multi-instrumentalist from Burkina Faso based in Warsaw. He plays primarily the kora, a traditional harp closely tied to Mandinka culture and the griot tradition (jeliya) of singers and keepers of oral memory. He collaborates with African ensembles as well as artists from the worlds of experimental rock and electronic music.
