The Philippine Meistersingers is a Filipino choral ensemble with over six decades of activity, representing Philippine culture on the international stage. Under the direction of Ramon M. Lijauco Jr., the choir performs a repertoire ranging from sacred music to contemporary works. Their achievements include the Ani ng Dangal award, a proclamation by the Philippine Congress, and a Gospel & Spiritual championship at the 2006 World Choir Games.
The World Choral Championship is an annual competition featuring the world's finest choirs. At Kraków's Szymanowski Philharmonic Hall, ensembles from the Philippines, the United States, Japan, and South Korea will perform.
Finalists of the World Choral Championship – four award-winning choirs from the Philippines, USA, Japan, and Poland – will perform at the Kraków Philharmonic. The concert brings the world's finest choirs together for one evening.
