A Summer's Day

"A Summer's Day" by Sławomir Mrożek is an intimate drama among the most frequently staged works by this author - it blends humor with philosophical reflection on desires, loneliness, and the search for life's meaning.

The production is directed by Sebastian Fabijański, making his directorial debut at the Polish Classics Theatre; Fabijański also performs on stage as one of the characters. The role of the Lady is played alternately by Marta Dylewska and Lidia Sadowa, while Michał Wójtowicz portrays the character of Failure. The meeting of this trio becomes the starting point for a story full of irony and absurdity. "A Summer's Day" is the third production of Mrożek's work at the Polish Classics Theatre, following "The Ambassador" and "Vatzlav".
