About: John Daversa

A three-time Grammy winner at the 61st Awards, Daversa leads his big band and small ensembles with equal command - blending rigorous jazz tradition with spontaneous, risk-taking improvisation. His trumpet playing has graced stages from Montreux to Jakarta, and his Frost Jazz Orchestra residency at the University of Miami keeps him at the center of American jazz education.
