FUTUROFONIA FESTIVAL - Workshops for Children 7-13

The workshops cover a repertoire ranging from classical compositions for voice and piano, through artistic abstraction, to contemporary sound experiments. The programme features performances from the last 70 years with references to the roots of classical music, world premieres of works previously unknown in Poland, and a collaboratively created world premiere with children's participation. Children will discover unconventional playing techniques - including playing on piano strings and instruments prepared with various objects - as well as contemporary vocal techniques, body percussion, and improvisation. A showcase of graphic scores will inspire them to create their own musical maps.

The workshops are conducted in English with translation into Polish. Two groups are available: children up to 6 years old with a guardian (up to 20 participants + parents/guardians) and school-age children 7-13 years old (up to 25 participants + parents/guardians welcome and encouraged to participate).

Participants should wear non-slip socks. All younger children must have a guardian or parent present.
