Opera Bałtycka (Baltic Opera) in Gdańsk is one of the leading opera houses in Poland, founded in 1949. Located in the Wrzeszcz district, its current modernist building dates from 1974 and seats around 1,000 spectators. The venue hosts opera, ballet, and operetta performances, and is home to the Baltic Opera and Baltic Philharmonic ensembles.
